With more than 30 years of real-world business experience, I’ve built businesses from the ground up, rebuilt after major life changes, streamlined operations, and helped expand established companies. I understand business not just from theory — but from living it.
What I’ve learned over three decades is simple: business feels completely different when it’s aligned with your values, your lifestyle, and the season of life you’re in.
My Journey
My path in business hasn’t been linear — and that’s exactly why I do the work I do now.
In my 20s, I ran my own hairdressing salon while co-managing my husband’s mechanical services business. In my 30s, after divorce, I rebuilt from the ground up as a single mum — starting another salon, studying, pivoting careers, and figuring things out in real time.
In my 40s, I moved into senior roles within the safety and construction industries before stepping into the role of Safety Manager at Waeger Constructions, working alongside my husband, Michael Waeger. While my formal title was Safety Manager, my role extended well beyond compliance. I was deeply involved in operations, systems, process improvement, and supporting the growth and expansion of the business.
Being part of a highly respected construction company operating at scale sharpened my understanding of leadership, accountability, structure, and what it truly takes to build a sustainable organisation.
Now in my 50s, I’ve stepped into what feels like my most aligned season yet — mentoring and supporting other women as they build businesses that genuinely work for their lives.
I’ve experienced growth. Reinvention. Burnout. Rebuilding. Confidence. Doubt. Success.
And what I know for certain is this: clarity changes everything.
